Societas Ovidiana

Societas Ovidiana provides a forum for interdisciplinary discussion of the influence of 
classical authors, especially Ovid, during the Middle Ages.  Our membership includes 
scholars from many fields, such as classics, manuscript traditions, literary theory, and 
literature in several vernacular languages.  We sponsor sessions regularly at the annual 
International Medieval Congress at Kalamazoo, MI and occasionally in other venues.
